The CRITT Sport Loisirs has the following statutory missions

• Designing, monitoring and carrying out innovation and experimentation programmes, research on its own behalf or on behalf of third parties.
• Monitoring, technology transfer on products, tools, production processes and support techniques.
• § The carrying out of studies, audits, expertise, consultancy and training missions, and communication actions
• Carrying out tests and trials of materials and equipment
• Standardisation and product certification
• Obtaining the various labels and accreditations in force corresponding to the areas of expertise developed
• Participation in various standards committees
